Fatih Aktas is a Teaching Fellow at the University of Edinburgh and a member of the Comparative Education and International Development (CEID) Research Group. He received his Ph.D. in Comparative and International Education from Lehigh University (U.S.A). He also received his M.A. degree in the same program with a Fulbright scholarship. His main research interests include comparative and international education policy analysis, creativity and innovation in higher education, globalization and policy transfer in education, and sustainable development. Before joining the University of Edinburgh, he has held a faculty position at Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey.
