José Neto

José Neto is a former postdoctoral researcher in comparative education at the Federal University of São Carlos. He completed his PhD in Education at University of São Paulo. He currently works in Applied Behaviour Analysis and is a researcher fellow at GEPEC with research interests including rural education; comparative studies; media, technology and education; and sociology of media. He has worked with schools and rural communities in Brazil and coordinated postgraduate courses on rural education. He has organised six books, available in Portuguese, on topics including sociology of education, rural education, and historical-critical pedagogy, which can be accessed here.  He is the editor for FreshEd and Eduquê.
