Education Policy & Reform
Education policy is rarely settled — it travels, gets borrowed, gets reformed, and gets resisted. FreshEd has tracked debates over curriculum, assessment, and accountability across very different national contexts, paying close attention to how policy ideas move from one place to another and what gets lost or transformed along the way. From foundational literacy and numeracy efforts in lower-income countries to standards-based reform in wealthy ones, these conversations explore who gets to decide what an education system should look like, and how those decisions are made, justified, and challenged.
